The Board of Perry Township Trustees met is Special Session on May 26, 2011 at the LUC Regional Planning Commission Office in East Liberty.  Roll Call: Jeff Rosebrook, present, Gary Baker, absent, Merle Ackley, present, and Cindy Stalling, present.  Also present was: Jenny Snapp, Wes Dodds, Steve Lithgo, Charles Bennett, Jack Graham, Robert Jackson, Dennis Fisher, Beverly Wolf, Keith Montgomery, Tim Eubanks, Paul Gantt, Tim Stalling, Don Henry, Dan Ackley, George Clapsaddle and Jack Nicholas.

     The purpose of this meeting was to go over the draft for the Comprehensive Plan for Perry and Zane Townships. 

     Wes and Jenny went over the whole draft with the group and then Jenny explained that the Logan County Commissioners are still offering to pay $5,000.00 per township that goes ahead and passes the Comprehensive Plan for their township.  As of right now Perry and Zane townships are the only townships in the county interested in this plan. 

     It was brought up that maybe there should be something in the Plan for a goal of a sewer being brought into these two townships and also something about wet lands.

     Jenny and Wes wants everyone to take their copy of the plan home with them, read it over and see if there needs to be any changes or amendments made to the plan. 

   Jenny or Wes will attend the next township meeting and see what our feelings are about passing this Plan for our Townships. 

     Jenny said that they have a dead line from the Commissioners, so we would need to pass this at our next regular meetings if we are going to put it in place.

     It was brought up that each township should  hold another meeting for comments and questions from their zoning boards.

     The cost to each township for their share of the plan would be $5,000.00. 

   LUC can make changes even if it’s passed. 

     Mr. George Clapsaddle said that he felt that there should be something in the plan for wetlands.
